Help keep our chemicals in check!

During COVID our locker rooms and showers were closed, but now that they have been fully open for a while we are again requiring that all swimmers please take a rinse-off shower before entering the pool. We also ask that parents check their children's swim diapers during and after lessons, and notify us immediately of any accidents. Please also keep an eye on your child during lessons, for any signs that they might need to go to the bathroom. These preventative actions will help keep our chemicals in balance and prevent pool closures.

Updated Summer Schedule

New Hours & Instructors Added!

An updated copy of our Summer Schedule can be found here. We are pleased that we were able to add numerous classes thanks to the hiring of a new instructor and current University of Wisconsin swimmer, Emma Lasecki. Ms. Emma will be working a long shift on Thursday afternoon/evening, and a late morning/early afternoon shift on Sunday for the summer. We are also fortunate that Ms. Lindsay added on Saturday mornings.

Changes to the previous Summer Schedule were also made based on parent requests. If you are unable to find a class that works for your family, please let us know. We are sometimes able to accommodate requests to adjust class levels. Siblings are welcome to join the same class even if they are at a different swim levels. The only exceptions are Parent-Tot and Swim Team. Ms. Emma and Ms. Lindsay have lots of open classes, so let us know if there's something on the schedule we can change to suit your needs!

Mark Your Calendar - Summer Registration

Due to a significant amount of instructor changes and parent requests, we have modified our sessions a bit and will now offer School Year and Summer sessions. **Because of this change, if your child is currently in lessons and would like to swim in the summer, you will need to register for a Summer Session class next week.** Summer registration will be open to all actively enrolled, currently swimming students on May 2nd at 9PM. **If you would like to swim in the summer, you will need to register for summer lessons even if you are enrolled in school year lessons right now.** Registration will take place via the Parent Portal, not through the typical registration button. The Summer Session runs from June 12th through August 31st.

School year enrollment will be carried over to the next school year session beginning in September. If you are enrolled in school year lessons right now, you will keep your same spot in the fall for the next school year session (Pending any schedule changes). **If you would like to continue swimming in the summer, you need to go into the Parent Portal to register on May 2nd, we won't be carrying over any enrollment or pre-registering students.** This is a change from how we anticipated doing things back in the fall, since so many parents and instructors wanted to change schedules for the summer. We appreciate your patience as we figure out the best ways to use Jackrabbit.

If you are currently on a waitlist for the school year session, or have siblings that aren't enrolled in lessons and would like to be, we will reach out the week of May 9th to try and place them in a class. Registration for all not currently enrolled or new families & students will take place on May 16th, so it is our hope to get all waitlisted students and siblings into lessons before May 16th. Please note - you are not considered an active, currently enrolled student if you are not actually swimming in lessons with us now. If you swam with Little Strokes in the past, but aren't on a waitlist or swimming right now, you will need to register on May 16th when the general public registration opens.

If you have any questions, please let us know. We realize this is a change from how we planned on doing things, but feel this is the best approach going forward. A copy of the Summer Session schedule can be found here.
